Featuring Quiksilver team rider Steph Gilmore, A Two Wave Total is a behind the scenes look at Australia's elite female surfers and their bid for the 2012 ASP World Title. A new initiative by the Australian Sports Commission to increase the exposure and reach of women’s sport in Australian media. This program will ensure that more Australians get to see wider coverage of exciting women’s surfing.

A Two Wave Total follows Australia’s leading female surfers as they chase glory on the Australian leg of the ASP World Tour. Stephanie Gilmore, Sally Fitzgibbons, Laura Enever, Tyler Wright, Rebecca Woods and junior star Nikki Van Dijk put it all on the line in front of their home fans at the Roxy Pro Gold Coast, Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach and Commonwealth Bank Beachley Classic in Sydney. It will be screened nationally on Channel Nine on Sunday, July 1 at 1pm in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth; and at 2pm in Melbourne.

Like all good things, Steph’s travel diary has also come to an end… but there is still more to come and we’ll be soon sharing with you a short documentary of our African adventure and much more!

For everyone involved in this mission this was a live changing trip and our experiences and souvenirs will accompany us forever. I hope you have felt the same. For us this is not the end of a trip, but the beginning of a new path with a refreshed new mind-set…

In the name of the Quiksilver Foundation I would like to thank everyone involved in our Senegal mission this year: our ambassadors, Stephanie Gilmore (4 x Surfing World Champion), Alain Riou (Surfer) and Tom Frager (Musician)… Our image production team: Bernard Testemale and Vincent Kardasik… Everyone at Coeur de Foret: Jérémie et Thibault, Jean Marc, Krim… our guide in Dakar : Pantxo and of course, all the people in Anambe.

Here’s a snippet of what’s to come…

Charlotte O'Connor is set to release her debut album 'For Kenny' on March 26th 2012. Charlotte may be young and beautiful, but it is with her carefully crafted songs (a mix of acoustic folk and soul), her mesmerizing soulful voice, and her cheeky Lancashire sense of humour that she has been charming her audiences across the globe. "The album is called 'For Kenny' in honor of my invisible friend I had when I was a kid -- a mouse called Kenny. When I was younger I was always breaking things by mistake, and blaming Kenny. I still blame him for things now if I misbehave. It's always Kenny's fault. I owe that mouse a lot, which is why the whole album is dedicated to him."
