Steph Gilmore won her 5th ASP World Surfing Title almost three weeks ago in France. Still embracing the high of her amazing achievement, Steph took to the water last night to cruise through her first round at the Nike US Open of Surfing!

Gilmore’s top two wave scores were a 5.83 and a 7.67 totaling a heat score of 13.50. Gilmore defeated Rebecca Woods (AUS) and Dax McGill (HAW).
